Fall Staple: The Camel Coat

cover

Ever since fall rolled around, I’ve been on the hunt for a good camel/tan coat. I’ve looked at all my usual spots: J. Crew, Banana Republic, Madewell, etc., but the quality never seemed to fit with the price tag. I then went to Forever 21 and H&M, and while cheaper than J.Crew and Banana Republic, I was still left unimpressed. I ended up finding exactly what I wanted at the most unlikely store and at a great price too! If you want to find out where I found this beauty, keep reading!

My coat is actually from Old Navy! I went into the Old Navy store, on a whim, with little to no expectations and I came out pleasantly surprised. I haven’t shopped at Old Navy in ages, but they have really stepped up their game. I found a bunch of great basic shirts and turtlenecks, but this jacket was by far, my best purchase.

Now, before you judge, this jacket is great quality and looks more expensive than it is. It’s also super soft and comfortable, which is a huge plus. It is a little oversized, so if it does get really cold, I can wear another jacket underneath to stay extra warm. I plan on wearing this jacket in the winter with a leather jacket underneath.

I bought this jacket right before Thanksgiving when everything at Old Navy was 40% off, so I ended up getting this jacket for about $35 – what a steal! I’ll definitely be living in this jacket this season.

Are you guys into the camel/tan coat trend? Let me know!

Stay Chic!
