Teddy Bear Jacket (Happy Thanksgiving)

First off, Happy Thanksgiving! If you’re reading this, I want to thank you for taking time out of your day to visit my blog and supporting me. I honestly cannot believe it’s already Thanksgiving, like, “where has this year gone?” I have so much to be thankful this year – my family and friends, my job and all the amazing opportunities it has given me. The list goes on and on, but this year has been very busy and exciting and I have lots to be grateful for. Something very big is happening next week and I cannot wait to share it with you guys (I posted a sneak peek pic on my Instagram). But enough about me, onto the Thanksgiving outfit!

If you take off the jacket, I resemble a dark and stormy cloud – just black “H to T” (head to toe, in case you’re not in the know). But then, I add on a giant fluffy teddy bear coat that I bought on a whim when it was on final sale at Aritzia this past summer and it just gives the whole outfit some life!

Normally, I wouldn’t dare buy a statement jacket like this. It’s not exactly a versatile piece and it takes up a chunk of my closet, but something about it drew me in. It could’ve been the fact that it was super on sale or maybe at the time of purchase, I was feeling extra bold, but I could not buy this jacket fast enough. I had to have it. And to be honest, I do not regret my decision to buy this. I thought it wasn’t versatile, but it really topped off my Halloween costume this year.

These teddy bear jackets are everywhere. You can find them cheap at Forever 21 and H&M and honestly, they are so warm and cozy, that you won’t regret buying one.

Are you into the teddy bear jacket trend? Let me know!
