Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Let the eye rolls commence! Regardless of your plans, I find that any holiday is a great excuse to dress up and go out.

These shoes have been patiently sitting in my closet for 2 months, waiting for their time to shine. Well, their time has finally come in the form of Valentine’s Day. This will be my first time wearing these shoes out of the house because, let’s get real, the opportunity to wear four inch currant suede cutout sandals is a rare one.

My Valentine’s Day plans this year are definitely not the norm. No romantic date, no girls night out. Nope, I’m running the LA Marathon with three of my friends from college and then going to dinner with my friend and my parents. Yes, you read that right, I’m going on a double date with my parents…on Valentine’s Day. Thankfully, chocolate is the only thing I take seriously when it comes to Valentine’s Day. Cue that kid who ate an entire chocolate cake in Matilda.

What are your plans for Valentine’s day? Let me know!

Stay Chic!

    • I know! Sometimes I can’t resist buying an impractical piece of clothing, but when I get to wear it, that outfit becomes so special. Thank you for checking out my blog! I’ll definitely check yours out!
