A few weeks ago, I spent the weekend in San Francisco and like always, my friend Marissa and I had a bundle of adventures. Our Friday night started off a little shaky with waiting over an hour for some Indian take-out and then falling asleep during Gone Girl. Spoiler alert: it’s not that good.
Things started to get more exciting the next day when we had a beach workout with the Golden Gate Bridge as our view. Since we were already in the Marina, we did what any recent college graduates would do, brunch.
The weekend got a little bit awkward when we went to an old classmate’s house warming party in Russian Hill and knew absolutely no one. I was constantly having déjà vu of all the awkward moments I had in high school – there were a lot.
Finally, Marissa had a performance in a club in SOMA and I was responsible of parking her car. While frantically looking for parking and driving in circles, I accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up in Treasure Island.
Whenever Marissa and I hang out, we always come out with some interesting stories, so I’ve learned to pack versatile clothes that can take me from brunch to a house party to a club.
Thanks to Marissa for taking these photos. Check out her awesome web designs, illustrations, and photography here.
