Pants Not Scrubs

Excuse me while I live in these pants.  My boss thought I was wearing scrubs because my pants were loose fitting and had a drawstring.  Granted, these pants are probably just as comfortable as scrubs, but I have never seen scrubs this cute.  On a side note, why would I wear scrubs to work?!

Although my black skinny jeans are a staple in my closet, sometimes I don’t feel like “wiggling” into them.  I have been loving loose, but tapered pants.  They are so comfortable, but because they are tapered, you don’t lose your shape.  Since I have rather short legs, loose fitting pants can sometimes overwhelm my body and I can look bottom-heavy, so adding some height with some open-toed booties balances out my body proportions.

I’m not saying that I’m retiring my skinny jeans; they are just going to be taking a little break while I live in these pants.
