Dressing for the Weather

Have you ever gotten dressed based on the temperature in the morning and by mid-afternoon realize you have made a huge mistake because you are now sweating through your chunky sweater?  I have made this mistake numerous times and will probably continue to do so because all I care about on my trek to work is being cozy in my car while I wait for the heater to warm up.

I work in an area that is around 10-15 degrees warmer than where I live, so in order to accommodate the temperature change, layering is a must.  I am a big supporter of layering, but sometimes it can get a little overwhelming, so when I am in a rush, I like to just go for a tank top that is a similar color to the sweater I am putting on over it.

I will normally look for a tank top that has a pattern so it doesn’t completely blend in with my sweater.  Then I just wiggle into some skinny jeans and layer some gold accessories, and I am out the door.

What are your layering essentials? Let me know!

Stay Chic!
