I’m Officially a Lushie!

I know that I have been MIA for a while, but I went back home for 3 days before heading on a 6 day roadtrip with my family back to Houston.  So now that I am all settled in, I can finally get back to blogging.

With all of this moving, I need a well overdue bath, which means LUSH!  I’ve recently started using Lush’s Body Butters in Buffy and Aqua Mirabilis.  I tried Buffy first and I really liked how it was very moisturizing, but I could not get over it’s herbaly scent.  The lady at the Lush store then recommended Aqua Mirabilis, and I fell in love.

I love that it has a slight sweet almond scent and it’s still exfoliating and moisturizing.  If you have sensitive skin, I would opt for the Aqua Mirabilis because it is not has harsh on your skin as Buffy.  The only downside to the Aqua Mirabilis is that it doesn’t come in the large size that Buffy does.

Unfortunately, my room in Houston only has showers, so the closest thing I can get to a bath is a foot bath, but I do intend on taking lots of them.  I decided to stock up on some of Lush’s Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars and let me tell you, I was sniffing that section of Lush for a good 45 minutes trying to figure out which ones I wanted to buy.  But I finally decided on:

Yuzu and Cocoa/ Rose Jam/ Space Girl

Yuzu and Cocoa smells like citrus and chocolate.  It does turn your water slightly orange, but not super orange.

Rose Jam smells like pure rose and it turns the water a pretty pink and the scent lingers on your skin.

Space Girl smells of blackcurrant and grapefruit.  Great for waking up your senses!

Next I moved onto their soap area and again, smelled everything for a good 45 minutes before deciding to pick up some Figs and Leaves Soap.  I really wanted everything, but I couldn’t resist the sweet almondy and fruity scent of Figs and Leaves.

To make your lush soaps last longer, I recommend cutting them into chunks before using it.

You can find all of these products and their descriptions at Lush.
